Yawo Cuisine was born out of a passion to revolutionize the wedding food scene. Our CEO, Ms. Yawo, had attended countless weddings, only to be served the same limited options: fried rice, jollof rice, fried chicken, potato salad, and sometimes, if lucky, a few other staples. It was as if the culinary world had come to a standstill! Ms. Yawo realized that the richness and diversity of Liberian cuisine were being overlooked and that couples and their guests deserved more. The desire to break free from the monotony of traditional wedding food sparked an idea - to create a catering service that would bring the authentic flavors and traditions of Liberia to the forefront, while also incorporating international dishes to cater to diverse tastes. With a vision to elevate the wedding food experience, Ms. Yawo embarked on a journey to share the bold, vibrant, and aromatic flavors of Liberian cuisine with the world, alongside a selection of international dishes inspired by her travels and culinary explorations.
